Town of Amherst Halloween Celebration

The Town of Amherst and the Amherst Police Department invite you to join us on October 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at a free and safe environment event for community youth and their families to celebrate Halloween.

Children will have the opportunity to trick or treat with local police and special business partners of the Town. Children can collect their treats as they stroll along with their parents along South Main Street between Second Street and Star Street from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Wear your best costume and bring your best dance moves to the Town Hall Parking lot where our DJ will be playing your favorite kid-friendly music or bounce to the music in a bounce house.  Food trucks will be available onsite for a delicious snack or dinner.
